Bio

Was born in Volzsky, Russia, 10.02.1987. Lived in St.Petersburg 2009-2016. Lived in Kyiv 2016-2022. Now has a temporary protection in Finland. Lives in Helsinki.

 

Artist, curator, grassroots activist, queer and feminist, participant of 2 sewing cooperatives: Resew (since 2016, experimental economic and community project) and Shvemy (since 2015, Ukrainian-Russian art group), also works in duo with Ton Melnyk.

Their main media are textiles, clothes, theatrical and performative practices, video, photo, dance. They like participatory practices and common projects. The main topics are: anti-war, labor rights, fair price, alternative economy, resistance against capitalism and patriarchy, issues of discrimination and ways to overcome it, climate change and ecology, migration, poverty, self-care, non-human creatures, queer community subculture.
